Dotyczy głosów Katalin, Anna-Beta i Imre-Hun.
Dotyczy głosów Katalin, Anna-Beta i Imre-Hun.
Obsługiwane systemy
- Debian 13, Ubuntu 26.04 LTS i Linux Mint 22.3 – wspólne pakiety DEB.
- Fedora 44 – pakiety RPM.
Klucz podpisu
Wszystkie pakiety są podpisane kluczem RHVoice package repository (axelek.pl), RSA 4096. Odcisk klucza:
A263 A416 C89A D771 63AC 16C0 7CE0 7DB3 9AD2 DB61
APT sprawdza podpisany indeks repozytorium, a przez niego sumę kontrolną każdego pliku DEB. DNF sprawdza podpis każdego pakietu RPM oraz podpis indeksu repozytorium. Klucz publiczny: rhvoice.asc.
Debian 13 i Ubuntu 26.04
1. Pobierz klucz i plik źródła pakietów:
sudo install -d -m 0755 /etc/apt/keyrings
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.asc
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.sources https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.sources
Jeśli system nie zna polecenia wget, zainstaluj je: sudo apt install wget.
2. Opcjonalnie sprawdź odcisk klucza. Wynik powinien zawierać A263A416C89AD77163AC16C07CE07DB39AD2DB61:
gpg --show-keys /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc
3. Odśwież listę pakietów i zainstaluj wszystkie języki i głosy:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install rhvoice-all
Plik rhvoice.sources zawiera:
Types: deb
URIs: https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/deb
Suites: stable
Components: main
Architectures: amd64
Signed-By: /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc
Linux Mint 22.3
sudo install -d -m 0755 /etc/apt/keyrings
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.asc
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.list https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install rhvoice-all
Plik rhvoice.list zawiera jeden wiersz:
deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc] https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/deb stable main
Fedora 44
sudo curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/rhvoice.repo https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.repo
sudo dnf install rhvoice-all
Plik rhvoice.repo zawiera:
[rhvoice]
name=RHVoice (axelek.pl)
baseurl=https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rpm/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
repo_gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.asc
metadata_expire=6h
Wybrane głosy zamiast wszystkich
Pakiet rhvoice-all instaluje wszystkie języki i głosy. Możesz zamiast niego zainstalować
moduł Speech Dispatchera i tylko potrzebne głosy. Dane języka dojdą automatycznie.
Przykład z polskim głosem Alicja:
# Debian, Ubuntu, Mint
sudo apt install speech-dispatcher-rhvoice rhvoice-voice-alicja
# Fedora
sudo dnf install speech-dispatcher-rhvoice rhvoice-voice-alicja
Pakiet rhvoice dodaje program RHVoice-test do czytania tekstu z terminala.
Po instalacji: Orca i Speech Dispatcher
Moduł RHVoice w Speech Dispatcherze nazywa się rhvoice. Zainstalowane głosy są wykrywane automatycznie.
W ustawieniach Orki wybierz system mowy Speech Dispatcher, syntezator RHVoice i głos.
Sprawdzenie z terminala:
spd-say -o rhvoice -L
spd-say -o rhvoice -y Alicja "Dzień dobry"
echo "Dzień dobry" | RHVoice-test -p Alicja
Jeśli masz własny plik ~/.config/speech-dispatcher/speechd.conf, uruchom jako zwykły użytkownik, bez sudo:
rhvoice-configure-speech-dispatcher --reload
Narzędzie dopisze moduł RHVoice do Twojej konfiguracji. Przed zmianą zapisze kopię z końcówką .before-rhvoice.
Aktualizacje
# Debian, Ubuntu, Mint
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
# Fedora
sudo dnf upgrade
Używaj apt upgrade, nie apt-get upgrade. Gdy wydanie dodaje nowe głosy, apt-get upgrade
wstrzymuje pakiet rhvoice-all i nowych głosów nie instaluje. apt upgrade doinstalowuje je sam.
Usuwanie
Debian, Ubuntu i Mint:
sudo apt purge '~nrhvoice'
sudo rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.sources /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.list /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc
sudo apt update
Fedora:
sudo dnf remove '*rhvoice*'
sudo rm -f /etc/yum.repos.d/rhvoice.repo
sudo rpmkeys --delete a263a416c89ad77163ac16c07ce07db39ad2db61
Licencje
Silnik, języki i głosy mają różne licencje. Niektóre głosy zabraniają zastosowań komercyjnych.
Teksty licencji i atrybucje są w /usr/share/doc/nazwa-pakietu/
oraz w katalogach danych w /usr/share/RHVoice/.
English: RHVoice package repository
RHVoice 1.19.5-13 for Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Fedora. Languages: 27. Voices: 84. Last updated: 2026-10-09.
What's new
9 October 2026, release 1.19.5-13
- Hungarian 1.34: two new eSpeak NG rules. The compounds villamoszene (s + z) and hurutjárvány (t + j) are read as their parts, in inflected and prefixed forms too (villamoszenével, gyomorhurutjárványban). This applies to the voices Katalin, Anna-Beta and Imre-Hun.
7 October 2026, release 1.19.5-12
- Hungarian 1.33: a review of the pronunciation rules. Family names with historical spellings are read as they are pronounced: Tóth, Németh, Horváth, Horthy, Báthory, Rácz, Rákóczi, Perczel, Madách, Eötvös, Weöres, in inflected forms too (Tóthot, Ráczcal). Initialisms before a hyphen are spelled out (TV-műsor, DNS-teszt, GPS-szel), the units Hz, kHz, MHz and GHz are read as hertz, and a hyphen after a letter or digit (Forma-1, COVID-19, 3-4 nap) is no longer read as "minus". This applies to the voices Katalin, Anna-Beta and Imre-Hun.
Supported systems
- Debian 13, Ubuntu 26.04 LTS and Linux Mint 22.3 share the same DEB packages.
- Fedora 44 uses the RPM packages.
- 64-bit x86 only (amd64, x86_64).
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, the base of Mint 22.3, passed the same tests. Debian 12 and older are not supported: the engine needs glibc 2.39 or newer.
Type the commands below in a terminal as a regular user. sudo asks for your password.
Signing key
All packages are signed with RHVoice package repository (axelek.pl), RSA 4096. Key fingerprint:
A263 A416 C89A D771 63AC 16C0 7CE0 7DB3 9AD2 DB61
APT checks the signed repository index, which holds the checksum of every DEB file. DNF checks the signature of every RPM package and of the repository index. Public key: rhvoice.asc.
Debian 13 and Ubuntu 26.04
sudo install -d -m 0755 /etc/apt/keyrings
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.asc
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.sources https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.sources
sudo apt update
sudo apt install rhvoice-all
If wget is missing, install it with sudo apt install wget.
To check the key, run gpg --show-keys /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc;
the output should contain A263A416C89AD77163AC16C07CE07DB39AD2DB61.
Linux Mint 22.3
On Mint, use the one-line .list file. The Software Sources tool also shows repositories in this format.
sudo install -d -m 0755 /etc/apt/keyrings
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.asc
sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.list https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install rhvoice-all
Fedora 44
sudo curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/rhvoice.repo https://axelek.pl/asael/rhvoice/rhvoice.repo
sudo dnf install rhvoice-all
On first use, DNF shows the key and asks to import it, usually twice: once for the repository index and once for the packages. Compare the fingerprint with the one above and answer y each time.
Selected voices instead of all
rhvoice-all installs every language and voice. You can install the Speech Dispatcher module
and only the voices you need instead; the language data comes automatically. Example with the Polish voice Alicja:
# Debian, Ubuntu, Mint
sudo apt install speech-dispatcher-rhvoice rhvoice-voice-alicja
# Fedora
sudo dnf install speech-dispatcher-rhvoice rhvoice-voice-alicja
List the voices with apt-cache search rhvoice-voice or dnf search rhvoice-voice,
or see the table at the end of this page.
The rhvoice package adds the RHVoice-test command line reader.
After installation: Orca and Speech Dispatcher
The Speech Dispatcher output module is called rhvoice. Installed voices are detected automatically.
In Orca preferences, choose the Speech Dispatcher speech system, the RHVoice synthesizer and a voice.
spd-say -o rhvoice -L
spd-say -o rhvoice -y Alicja "Hello"
echo "Hello" | RHVoice-test -p Alicja
If you have your own ~/.config/speech-dispatcher/speechd.conf, run
rhvoice-configure-speech-dispatcher --reload as a regular user, without sudo.
It adds the RHVoice module to your configuration and first saves a copy ending in .before-rhvoice.
Updates
New versions arrive with regular system updates, including the graphical update manager:
sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade, or sudo dnf upgrade on Fedora.
Use apt upgrade, not apt-get upgrade: when a release adds voices, apt-get upgrade
keeps rhvoice-all back and does not install them, while apt upgrade does.
If you installed the same packages earlier from an archive, for example with install.sh,
just add the repository. The package names are the same, so later versions come from the repository.
Removal
# Debian, Ubuntu, Mint
sudo apt purge '~nrhvoice'
sudo rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.sources /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rhvoice.list /etc/apt/keyrings/rhvoice.asc
sudo apt update
# Fedora
sudo dnf remove '*rhvoice*'
sudo rm -f /etc/yum.repos.d/rhvoice.repo
sudo rpmkeys --delete a263a416c89ad77163ac16c07ce07db39ad2db61
